How long does it take to receive my YakTats?
It takes between 10 and 15 days, usually. It depends mainly on whether we have to get proofs approved by you. We offer a ‘rush service’ to let you get what you want faster. If you are really in a big rush, let us know.
How do I apply my YakTats skin when I get them?
There are full instructions with the skin when you get it. It’s quite easy to apply the skin. It’s self adhesive, and you simply trim it to size. Don’t worry if you don’t align everything completely right the first time – you can pull back the skin and apply it again to correct any mistake (the adhesive doesn’t set hard for about a day or so).
Is it durable and how long will it last?
It sure is! In fact, it will probably protect your device against abrasion and damage. We use an ultra-strong laminate to ensure that your skin lasts and your laptop does too.
Can I remove it? No problem, even if it is solidly stuck on, you can remove the skin in about ten minutes.
What sort of materials do you use? We use well-tested materials and printing technologies which are also used in the graphic design, signmaking and automotive industries, as well as in the electronics industry.
How do I pay?
Easiest way to pay is using your credit card with PayPal. If you prefer, you can contact us to arrange a different kind of payment such as a check or wire transfer.

What about the apple-shaped light on the back of my laptop? Will it shine through? Yes, it will shine through but depending on the color it may only be visible in low light environments. We recommend considering the Mac specific skins with the apple cut out if you are concerned. If you are doing a custom design, you need to take this into account.
